DAY TRIP: KIJABE HILL TANDEM PARAGLIDING

**Option 1 Itinerary: Transport Provided / Self Drive (with your
personal driver)**

7:00 am: Pick-Up (at your preferred pick-up point)

• Pickup-up and proceed to Kijabe Hill via Nakuru – Nairobi Road.
• The journey is about 1hr 30min.
• Short stop over at view point (optional).

8:30 am: Arrive at the Kijabe Hill top

• Pickup-up and proceed to Kijabe Hill via Nakuru – Nairobi Road.
• Meet with the tandem paragliding pilots for meet and greet.
• Senior pilot will take you through the tandem paragliding briefing and safety measures.
• Prepare for the take-off 15-20min flight subject to the weather condition at the time.

9:00 am: Para-Waiting & Take-off

• Para-waiting is basically when the pilot evaluates for the accurate wind opportunity to takeoff,
  this waiting time might take several minutes.
• Take-off when the accurate opportunity is identified.
• The flight will take a proximately 15 min – 20 min. If you wish for mid-air acrobatics for more
  adrenaline kick the pilot will steer :-).

10:00 am: Landing

• Landing site is at the foot of Kijabe Hill. The landing spot is near Corner Stone Primary school
  Longonot,

**Option 2 Itinerary: Self Drive (without a personal driver)**

7:00 am: Leave Nairobi by 7:00 am

• Proceed to Longonot Hill via Mai Mahiu – Narok Rd.
• The journey is about 1hr 30min.
• Short stop over at view point (optional).

8:30 am: Arrive at Cornerstone Primary at the foot of Kijabe Hill

• Upon arrival, the vehicle can be parked at Corner Stone Primary school Longonot (at the foot
  of the hill), our assigned person will guard the vehicle for safety.
• Then take boda-boda ride up the hill for about 15min – 20 min. The terrain is a bit
  rugged/bumpy. The boda-boda riders are known and selected by us. The ride is at no extra
  cost.
